What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker? 
Engaging with young people is so intriguing.  One minute, they're drenched by water bottles and trying to un-pin each others' kilts for revenge; the next they're debating the philosophical merits of the persecution of Galileo!  Drawing that profound energy into productive, loving community, in an official capacity, is a dream come true

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work? I felt compelled to return to my community and help rebuild it.

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?  (There will always be someone greater or lesser than yourself, so) "Ko te pae tawhiti whaia kia tata, ko te pae tata whakamaua kia tina."
"Seek the distant horizons; guard those you have already attained."

What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
I love hanging out with young people, talking and doing stuff together. I get a real kick out of seeing people do think something for the first time or overcome a challenge. And I love realising that a relationship is getting deeper. Its cool to think that the young people I'm getting to know now will be the schools leaders in a few years!

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
I want to help young people live life to its fullest. And what better job than hanging out and playing sport!

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
Be the person you want to be, give everything your best shot and make sure you have fun along the way.

What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
I absolutely love hanging out with the young guys at school. Love seeing them slowly develop into who could be our future bosses and leaders! Awesome getting  the chance to be one of the older people they talk to and seek advice and support from

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
Love helping people out and what better way to help a bunch of awesome youth then by joining them in there own territory, at school.

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others.

How long have you been a 24-7 Youth Worker? Beginning of 2010!

What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
Well, I haven't actually started yet. But one of the things I love about being a youth leader is being able to enable youth to do things they don't feel they're able to do by giving them support, and then being able to watch them grow into responsible, awesome young people. I'm looking forward to being able to do that (even in a small way) at Lincoln. Remind them that their age is no barrier to doing anything.

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
I went to Lincoln and very much enjoyed it. I didn't really get to benefit from having 24-7 there (to be honest, I had no idea they were there ) but I've heard from my brother and the kids how awesome Luke, Jaye and Caleb are so I know they're doing a great job. God wants me there to experience it and with his help do a great job too =D

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
Always keep in mind what others say of you because taking heed of criticism helps you grow, but never let anyone tell you that you're not worth anything.
