How long have you been a 24-7 Youth Worker?
I started at Horomaka at the end 2000! Had a year off in 06 for some overseas adventures!
But I’m back now…. So you do the Math. 

What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
Being in a position to come into high school and engage with young people on their territory is not only a huge honour, its an amazing opportunity. Its great just getting alongside and challenge young people in way’s that teachers can’t.  

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
To start with the fact that Duane said it was a good idea! Other than that it was a prefect part time job to compliment the studies I was doing! Having a heart for young people and being able to be paid to work with them is flippen awesome! Since starting I have become more and more passionate about working with young people in this is still one of the best ways that I know of to get out there into the world of the young people around us. 

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
Be nice to your mum

What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
Being back at school without homework……oh and of course hanging with the beautiful YP of Hillmorton

What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
Because my heart has been broken for the Hillmorton/Rowley community, the YP and their families…so what a huge privilege and opportunity it is to be part of a team, working, learning and sharing in the local High School

What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
Love Freely, Act justly, Walk humbly

Having the opportunity to be a part of young people’s lives, developing as a coach and as person.

Wanting to be obedient to my hearts desire to work with young people.
